Charlie Cytron-Walker

Charlie Cytron-Walker is a prominent American rabbi, dedicated to serving the Jewish community. His professional journey has taken him to various notable positions, including his current role as the rabbi at Temple Emanuel in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, a position he held as of 2022.

Prior to his current appointment, Cytron-Walker served as the rabbi at Congregation Beth Israel in Colleyville, Texas. During his tenure, he was unfortunately at the center of a significant event when he was taken captive during the Colleyville synagogue hostage crisis. Despite this challenging experience, he continues to contribute to the Jewish community through his work and leadership.
