David Smolansky

David Smolansky is a Venezuelan politician and journalist, born in 1985. He has been involved in various roles within the political sphere, including his membership in the Vente Venezuela movement. Smolansky's experience in public office includes serving as the Mayor of El Hatillo Municipality in Miranda, a position he held from 2013 to 2017.

In addition to his work in municipal government, Smolansky has taken on roles with international implications. He was appointed as the Special Envoy of the Organization of American States, focusing on the Venezuelan migrants and refugee crisis. More recently, in 2023, Smolansky became the Deputy Director of the Comando Con Venezuela in Washington D.C., further expanding his involvement in addressing key issues related to Venezuela from an international platform.
