Ira Sachs

Ira Sachs is a prominent American filmmaker, born in 1965. He initiated his career in the film industry by directing short films, including notable works such as Vaudeville, released in 1991, and Lady, which followed in 1993. This early experience paved the way for his transition to feature films, marking a significant milestone in his professional journey.

Sachs' feature film debut, The Delta, was released in 1996, setting the stage for his subsequent critically acclaimed dramatic independent films. His notable works include Forty Shades of Blue, released in 2005, as well as Keep the Lights On, Love Is Strange, and Little Men, which were released in 2012, 2014, and 2016, respectively.
