Joseph Lookstein

Joseph Hyman Lookstein was a prominent figure in American Judaism, born in Russia and later becoming a respected rabbi in the United States. He served as the spiritual leader of Congregation Kehilath Jeshurun, a notable synagogue located on the Upper East Side of Manhattan. Throughout his career, Lookstein played a significant role in Orthodox Judaism, holding various leadership positions that showcased his dedication to the faith.
