Immanuel Hai Ricchi

Immanuel Hai Ricchi was a prominent figure in the Italian Jewish community, serving as a rabbi and demonstrating expertise in kabbalistic studies. Born in Ferrara in 1688, he would go on to develop a multifaceted career that also included poetic pursuits. His work reflects the rich cultural and intellectual heritage of Italian Judaism during the 17th and 18th centuries.

Ricchi's life was marked by tragedy, as he met a violent end near Cento on 25 February 1743.
