Leon Trotsky

руски политик

Leon Trotsky was a prominent Soviet politician and revolutionary who played a crucial role in shaping the country's early years. Born in 1879, he became a key figure in several significant events, including the 1905 Revolution and the October Revolution of 1917. His involvement in the Russian Civil War and the establishment of the Soviet Union cemented his position as a leading figure in the Soviet state. Alongside Vladimir Lenin, Trotsky was a dominant force in Soviet politics from 1917 until Lenin's death in 1924.

Trotsky's ideological beliefs were rooted in Marxism and Leninism, and his ideas would eventually give rise to a school of thought known as Trotskyism. However, his time in the Soviet Union was cut short when he was exiled in 1929. This marked the beginning of a period of separation from the country he had helped to shape, and ultimately, it would lead to his demise. In 1940, Trotsky's life was cut short when he was assassinated, bringing an end to the life of a man who had been a driving force behind the Soviet Union's early development.
